    First, the speed score fails every time. Error message:

    Failed to load Speed Scores
    Timed out while waiting for speed-score.

    Secondly, it fails to generate Critical CSS. error message:

    Failed to generate Critical CSS

    Hmm, looks like something went wrong. We’re still seeing an unexpected error. Please reach out to our support to get help.

    Hi @codldmac,

    If you use a plugin like WordFence or a service like Cloudflare, their WAF can block our service from communicating with your site. These “score timeout” errors can happen because we can’t send the PageSpeed scores to your site.

    I just debugged the Jetpack connection for your site (since you have Jetpack installed on your site), and we’re also getting a cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30001 milliseconds with 5623 bytes received error there.

    I’d suggest you check any security plugins you have on your site or with your hosting provider. If necessary, you can add Jetpack’s IPs to your allowlist: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/
