timeout error

    this plugin looks great.
    I am having an issue when using a template in the display parameter.I have a custom post type that has got very few fields in it. It works fine on the other display types (title, all etc). However when I try to use a template it gives me the following error:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded…

    The template has nothing but a helloworld print statement in it (just as a test) so it shoudn’t be getting caught in any type of infinite loop.

    Any help or explanation as to what I need to do would be great. Thanks.

    Did you ever get this figured out? The only time I’ve seen that error is when there’s an infinite loop in the embedding (like page A includes an insert page shortcode that embeds page B, but page B includes a shortcode that embeds page A).

    I am getting the same error any time I attempt to use a custom template file. I have placed the file in my theme, it works as a standalone template, and the theme is a child theme that otherwise works fine.
