• Currently my blog displays the time correctly for my time zone. If I post something at 21.00 it will display 21.00.

However, in all my posts and even my WeatherIcon plugin, the timezone is listed incorrectly. I am currently -0400 GMT– yet what is displayed in both posts and plugins is -0700.

My option “Times in the weblog should differ by” is set to -4 hours. So I have no idea where the -0700 is coming from.

Another curiosity is that while I am set to -4 in the options, just below in “Default time format:”, though my settings are H.i.s (O), I get an output of 16.22.29 (+0000) instead of 16.22.29 (-0400).

I have no idea why, I’ve tried looking around here and on the web, so either my ignorance/stupidity is getting in the way, or I need to fix something.

    1. How do I fix this for all future posts?
    2. Could this then be applied to fix all past posts?

    Thanks,
    DWRZ

Edit: I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Can this topic be moved or should I post again? My apologies.

WordPress currently has a lot of timezone issues. There’s no easy fix to any of them.

Future versions may make this behavior more intelligent.
