    Pre-Sales inquire

    Why is there not a live demo of your software

    I am desperate to add live chat to my site but we are a local service based business and I can’t find the feature I need.
    Why are there so many chat applications that do not have location restrictions, I service
    450 suburbs of Melbourne Australia and don’t want to spend any time talking to poeple
    that are never going to be my customers.
    We also get allot of bounce traffic from other countries so it will be common issue.
    I am a natural night owl but would like to put restrictions on what times the live chat is open.

    Hi there,

    there is a front end demo (well, real thing) at customericare.com.

    You can sign up and test the software, too!

    – You can Limit your chats to Melbourne only. You may want to chat with us on our website or show this to your IT folks, because it will require a little implementation trick.

    1) Get a trial licence, obviously.
    2) Do not implement the WordPress Plugin as you would normally do. Instead, log on to your trial licence, go to Settings, Install Plugin, grab that piece of code. Implement it inside your footer.php file (can be found in Appearance > Editor)
    3) On top of that code, copy this little bit:

    <div class=”ao_plugin” data-hide_plugin=”true”>

    4) Now save your files. The chat is installed.

    5) Go to your trial licence, pick Settings > Triggers. Create a new Rule. Make it look like this: http://screencast.com/t/RpCppPZUW

    You’re done. The chat will pop up only for visitors from Melbourne 🙂

    Ah, and about the Night Owl thing – after you close your computer when the sun comes up (or close your browser) the chat will go offline and won’t ask people to chat when you’re not around. It’s automatic! 🙂
