Thumbnails: vertically align caption

    Hi,
    in my slider, I would like to vertically center the captions of the thumbnails. I tried

    vertical-align: middle;

    on several spots, but never saw a change. Some captions have two lines, so that I cannot work with margins / paddings here.

    Is there a chance to do it?
