Thumbnails/images not showing, but they uploaded and are there.

Hello, I am able to upload images, but none of the thumbnails are showing. I have a chrome plugin called hoverzoom, where when you hold the mouse over an image, it displays a popup automatically with the fullsize of any image you cover over and when I look at my gallery I see no images, and if I click it, I still see none, but with hoverzoom it pulls the images actual url, and that works. So the images are there and uploaded properly, but the gallery it self is not showing them.
I tried to do the “recreate thumbnail” but that did not work. When I first uploaded them, there were spaces in all the images, so I removed them all, deleted them from the plugin, reuploaded them and still doesnt work. Is there a way to clear image cache or anything that may have the old images still there, or any ideas of what to try?
