Thanks in advance for such an amazing plugin. I have used it in the past with no problems at all… until now.

I’m able to crop the images and save the crops, but it doesn’t seem to update them at all. The previews within the crop thumbnails dialog are accurate, but the images on my site don’t change. I have noticed the dotted crop lines on the crop preview are defaulting back to the original middle crop when I select an image, but I’m not sure if that’s even a problem.

p.s. I have cleared the cache on the browser and turned off all plugins except this one and I still can’t get the front end images to update. I am using the latest version of WordPress, PHP 7.1 and the latest version of Divi.

    Hi tangeloe,

    – the dashed line will be reset every time you select another image-size – thats normal
    – the image-sizes on the left will show you the current images – they are cache-breaked by default

I dont know exactly why your theme do not show the correct cropped image. You may have a look on this:
The path that is used for the image is
    http://www.leavittphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/kaylee_purcell_web-145197_400x250.jpg

I this the directory where you uploaded the images? Maybe your theme copy the images from the upload directory to another, temporary directory (dont know why it should do so – but its an option).

I accessed the file in that location
    http://www.leavittphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/kaylee_purcell_web-145197_400x250.jpg

The file is actually the bad crop version, not the one that I’m seeing in the back-end when I crop the image using your plugin.

What should I do? Where should the images be saving to?

I assume, your theme seems to copy the initial uploaded image to another directory (et_temp) and use this image.

There is nothing i can do about it.
