I installed the All in one SEO plugin on to my friends website
http://www.alexisrobertsphotography.co.uk yesterday and realised that the thumbnails had been replaced by the full size images.

I removed the plugin but the problem was still there. I backed up and upgraded to 2.8.2 again, no joy.

Have checked that GD is working.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

  • Are the thumbnails being controlled by a plugin or are they entered using a custom field?

The only plugins I am using are Floatbox for the gallery slide show and Contact form, which have been working fine for around a month or so.

They were uploaded via the gallery function in media.

    foxsam,

It appears there is a class=”thumbnail” on the image tag, did this get deleted? My other question is are the thumbnails still in the uploads folder and finally how are you adding the thumbnails, through a custom field within the post?

    Hi doc4
The thumbnail class it is still there as far as I can see.
The thumbnails are still in the uploads folder and when I have tried to add new ones they get generated as usual.
I upload them via the image uploader and not through a custom field.

    foxsam,

The uploading aside, how are you placing the thumbnails into the code?

    doc4,
Until yesterday, I assumed the theme was doing this (Monochrome-Pro – Graphpaper Press) as I wasn’t doing anything else except uploading to a post and assigning a category.

Sorry for being so vague but this is my first foray in to WordPress and am feeling my way around a bit.

    foxsam,

No worries, I will look into the theme in the morning and see what I can dig up for you.

    Hi doc4,
It was down to the database corrupting when I installed the ‘All in one SEO’ plugin. The united hosting support spotted this in the logs and were able to fix it.

    Many thanks for your help.
