    Great plugin overall 🙂
That said, I bumped into a bit of a bug and I thought I would let you folks know.

    Steps to replicate:
    1) Set up a WPML website (at least 2 languages)
    2) Create a few posts with featured images
    3) Use the Flexi Post Grid plugin on the front page
    4) Update the featured image on one of the posts
    5) Notice how the path to the flexi post grid thumbnail doesn’t get updated for that post in the main language
    6) Notice how the pat to the flexi post grid thumbnail gets updated in the secondary language

It looks like there is a path caching issue in that context. Perhaps adding a “refresh thumbnail” button would fix such problems? Thoughts?

Thanks for reporting this and for the detailed reproduction steps 👍

You were absolutely right — this was caused by a thumbnail path caching issue when featured images were updated, especially in multilingual setups like WPML.

We’ve now improved the thumbnail generation logic so updated featured images automatically generate refreshed thumbnail paths instead of reusing cached ones. This prevents outdated thumbnails from persisting in the grid after image updates.

The fix has been included in the latest 1.3.1 update.

Really appreciate you taking the time to report and document this issue clearly — it helped improve the plugin for everyone 🙂

If you’re enjoying the plugin, we’d also really appreciate a quick rating or review on WordPress.org — it helps support future improvements and future updates.
