Thumbnail Creator Failing

Dear NextGen,

When I add multiple images to my Nextcellent Gallery (Version 1.9.16 on WordPress 3.8) through the Flash uploader it uploadfs all of the images successfully but only creates 2 thumbnails and then fails, requiring me to recreate the thumbnails in the galley itself.

Is this a bug or something that could be fixed by moving to the paid version?
