thumbnail blur in desktop view

    Hello,

    I am build an online store on top of virtue theme. The thumbnails in the my website https://8cross8.com is very blur and of bad quality.

    However in mobile view, the thumbnail images very very good. The image quality in general is fine but I have isues only with thumbnails.

    Please let me know if I had to change any settings in the site to make my thumbnails looks good ?

    Hello! I’m not noticing any images looking blurry. They look pretty decent when I view your site.

    If you want to improve the quality of the images, it’s always good to use as high quality of photos as you can. But I’m not seeing the issue on your site.

    Hello Kevin,

    Thanks for the compliment.. But I still feel few books starting with “Winning Chess” and “My great predecessors” in my main page doesn’t look good. few images are decent though.

    The same thumbnails when i look in my mobile, its so awesome.. And regarding the quality, we had a photo shoot in a DSLR and compressed it. The compressed product image is very nice.. But i feel the thumbnails to be bad..

    Can this be somewhere related to thumbnail size in media or shop settings ?

    Hey, Your using jetpacks photon. Try disabling and see if you like the results better.

    I’m also seeing that your original images looks like scans done with a scanner and the quality isn’t very good even at a large size: https://www.8cross8.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/21b.jpg
