Throws some PHP errors but works
-
Hi,
I just started to use this plugin with a Custom Post Type. It seems to be working fine but throws some PHP errors:
Notice: get_category_children is <strong>deprecated</strong> since version 2.8! Use get_term_children() instead. in /var/www/vhosts/xyz/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3391
Notice: get_all_category_ids is <strong>deprecated</strong> since version 4.0! Use get_terms() instead. in /var/www/vhosts/xyz/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3391Could you please update the plugin? Thanks a lot!

Hi tyrann0ous,
thank you very much for reporting this.
I had also noticed it and in the next plugin release this will be fixed.Kind regards,
DianaHi tyrann0us,
I’ve fixed this in the latest development version and will release a new version of the plugin soon.
Would you be willing to grab the latest development version and test drive it?
Kind regards,
DianaHi Diana,
thank you for fixing this.Since I “need” this plugin on a client’s project I will test drive it of course. But unfortunately the update doesn’t seem to be available yet.
Regards,
tyrann0usHi tyrann0us,
you can grab the Development Version from the plugin page. Just click the tab ‘Developers’ and, once there, under ‘Other Versions’ click Development Version to download a .zip file with the version that is to be released.
Once I have some feedback from people who have tested the Development Version, I will release it. So your conclusion that it is not available yet is correct.
Kind regards,
DianaHi Diana,
I just installed the development version and it’s working fine!
No more errors anymore. 😉Thank you!
Hi tyrann0us,
thank you very very much for testing it. I’m waiting for some feedback on a few other things, but this means the new version will be out soon.
Kind regards,
DianaHi Diana and everyone whos’s interested,
just a short feedback that public version 1.1 (and 1.2.0) are working fine.Side note: Could you please add a changelog for 1.2.0?
Hi tyrann0us,
thank you for reporting back.
I thought I had edited the changelog but apparently I haven’t, I’ll update it!Kind regards,
Diana
