Three sidebar questions

    Hi —

    I need to know how to get rid of the meta selections in the side bar.

    Also, is there any way I can put text in the sidebar? I want to put something there permanently.

    Finally, how to I get the blogroll to show? It says on my options that it’s showing, but it’s not.

    Please keep in mind that I am totally clueless and need things spelled out. Sort of like talking to a kindergartener.

    The widgets plugin allows you to include one or more text boxes. The text within those text boxes can be formatted, too. (no nice editor, but you can type html code there )

    You will need a widget compliant theme, too (to a search at extend/themes)

    Blogroll? Have you gone to the “Link editor” and added some links?

    You can get rid of the Meta with “widgets” if I remeber correctly. Go to the plugin settings and start moving blocks from/to the sidebar with the mouse.

    The link editor says the blogrolls are showing, but they aren’t.

    I know I sound terribly ignorant (only because I am!), but I can’t find any way to edit the plugin settings. The theme said it is widget compliant.

    The widgets settings might be in the same menu as the themes… Theme/Edit theme/Widgets
