• I have different categories in my website like News, Markets, Business, etc., I have several posts under these categories. I also have sidebar created in that website. I want to show a widget only for posts under a category > News. In Dynamic Visibility, I choose the post and select the terms > categories > news. Everything works till this end. But I need to show the widget in the News archive. So, again in Dynamic Conditions, I choose the archive > categories > news. This time its not showing the widget. It works only when I choose either Post or Archive. The widget is not working when both the post and archive under News category is chosen. I also tried AND / OR Logic but it is not working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Swamiprasanna,
I would like to understand more about your request.
Which widget are you using to publish posts? An Elementor widget?
    Thanks

Yes! I am using Elementor Pro. I found another issue. I have a parent category and 3 child categories. In the Archive page (example: child-cateogry 1), I want to show elementor widget only in this archive and all post under the child-category 1. I use Dynamic Visibility plugin to achieve this result. Everything works fine but the elementor widget shows in the parent category and other child categories in the Archive page. I don’t find an option to exlude parent category and a other child categories. Is it a bug or anything I missed to enable / disable in the plugin settings?

    Hi Swamiprasanna,
Have you tried it this way?
Visibility (> Show) > Taxonomy > Categories (category)
    and
    Terms > Child-category-1

Thanks for your response. It is difficult to explain the exact issue here. Anyway, I managed this issue by creating separate Archive and Single Post template and also created seperate sidebars to achieve the result. Uninstalled the plugin now but I will test the plugin in my local wordpress installation. I don’t want to create too many templates for just show/hide widgets based on the category. I need to achieve this through dynamic visibilty plugin and maintain only one Template and Sidebar across the site. So, I will test all dynamic visibility plugins in the local first.
