    I would like to create a site that allows a customer to register, and add a listing for what they want. Something the want or something they have to give away.

    They would need to manage their listing, be able to update it or even delete it before an expiry date. Find password etc etc

    then this listing would need to be able to to be listed under a category set by the user..

    Can you tell me if this ( AWPCP Classifieds ) or the Business Directory Plugin is the better plugin for this job.

    they both look good but not sure which would do the job better.

    Also would love to have a map on homepage showing all the listings locations.

    Hi wealthy,

    Both plugins can create listings and allow users to manage them.

    The one thing that Business Directory has that AWPCP does not right now is the Map integration. That sounds like a better fit for what you need here.
