This doesn’t work

    Not only doesn’t this plugin work right. It throws PHP warnings and fills the error log.
    At this point, this plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year.

    A Client was trying to use this plugin to hide a category, it didn’t work. I removed for the reasons that a) It still showed the category and b) that the plugin wrote about 5mb of error log daily for undefined index. It’s just as simple to update functions.php and exclude the categories without a plugin, and I updated my client site and didn’t even charge them for my time.

    Okay, thanks for the info.. I haven’t seen any issue on the error log but I will certainly look into this.

    Yes, there are many ways to hide categories. This plugin only removes it from the shop’s main page and any other pages you include by editing the file as documented.
