Themes with true templates

    Anyone know of themes with true post/page templates? This means the layout is saved in the template and not in the post content. A way to know this is that the template has a block called ‘post content’.

    A copy/paste template means you set up your visual designer, and in one of the text blocks you type in your post content. When you ‘apply’ a copy/paste template to a new post you get an exact clone, overwriting your existing post content. You end up with a bunch of shortcodes in your post content database row.

    A true post/page template means you can switch to another theme and everything will look OK. It also means if you update your template, all your posts are updated too.

    A copy/paste means you must start from scratch. Any layout changes have to be individually applied to every post.
