    Hello @jeff Farthing

    Hope you are doing well.

I have an interesting issue that I wanted to ask you about. The website I have built is for a community and it is 100% private for the members only. I use TML for the login with the shortcode on a page (/login/). The root (www.domain.com) URL is set as the home page in the WP Reading Settings. I also have WPMU Membership employed to redirect all non logged in visitors to the /login/ screen, as well as, manage the memberships.

    SETTINGS:

    All Custom User Links:
    Dashboard – /wp-admin.php/
    Profile – /wp-admin/profile.php

    Themed Profiles:
    All Checked Except Administrator.

Restrict Admin Access: All Un-Checked except Subscriber (what the members are set to)

All TML Redirection are set to Default.

Here are the other TML Settings:

    The Issue:

When some of the members login they are presented with the front end Themed Profile. When the profile screen is presented, and Update Profile is selected, they are not redirected to the home page, and unable to get to the actual home page with out manually removing the trailing url and entering the root domain. With 500 members, five or six have had this front end Profile Screen. I cannot figure out why these ones are singled out.

    Thank you again Jeff.

What do you mean “they are not redirected to the home page”? When you update your profile, you go back to the profile with the message “Profile updated.”

    Thank you Jeff.

When some, not all, members sign in, they are presented with a profile info screen (i think this is the themed profile). Name, nickname, password edit, social media links and so on. There is an “Update” button at the bottom.

When the “Update button is clicked, they nothing happens, save the page refreshes. The profile reappears and it is as though they are stuck at the themed profile page.

Shouldn’t the Update button save their profile and then move them along to the home page?

At the moment, when this happens (they get “stuck” at the theme profile page), I have to show them how to delete everything after the “.com/” which manually takes them to the home page.

    Hope this helps.

If you want to see for your self, I can create a user for you. Just need to know what email address to use.

    Thank you Jeff.

No, updating the profile does not redirect anywhere.
