Theme won't install

    The theme was isntalled before until it decided to break for no reason. So now I get the message:

    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    How can I fix this?

    Try installing it again. There are some issues and WP won’t give you the whole theme package for some reason.

    It still won’t allow it. The website im working on is http://poetsphotos.com/ It worked before and now reinstalling it it fails every time.

    Have you tried clearing and deactivating your caching plugin while making changes? And deactivating any other plugins?

    Try installing another theme – do you have the same issue?

    @omgsounique – If you download it manually from the theme page, what’s the archive size?

    @wpyogi – The issue is with our theme, although not with the theme itself. It’s 3.5 Mb but for some reason some people are only able to download/update about 400Kb. Seems to happen randomly. And we don’t know who to talk to about this.

    EDIT: just tried it again now. I clicked on Download and got a 419KB archive, clicked again on Download and got the full 3.5MB archive.

    Got it. I disabled plugins then downloaded it and re activated only the plugins needed for the theme and cache
    thanks u guys
