Hi,

I am using the Twenty Eleven template but I do not seem to be able to get the widgets to appear in the sidebar. They will appear in the footer but not to the side.

Please advise,

…and you are dragging widgets into sidebars where the widgets are found at:
Dashboard =>Appearance =>Widgets

please use the forum search – the confusion about when the sidebars show in Twenty Eleven has been solved many times before.

working through the search results for ‘sidebar twenty eleven’ should get you some answers.

ps:
you seem to have switched to ‘pilcrow’ which is another way of solving the problem 😉
