Theme: Twenty Eleven – Facebook plugin comments strip WP comments

Using the new facebook “official” plugin with this theme, when enabling facebook comments, the previous comments held by normal wordpress are no longer viewable. Is this a shortcoming of the theme itself or of the facebook plugin?

Also is there a setting where the comments will be displayed all the time without having to click the little bubble that opens them?
