Theme Styling Displaying Incorrectly

    This is killing me.

    So, every wordpress theme I attempt to use displays as if the styling is somehow broken; sample images do not display, borders are missing and the front page shows just the standard post list, not the theme example front page. This occurs with previews of all themes and those that I install.

    I’m using a server running Ubuntu 14.04 and Apache2, also with virtual hosts to other sites, one of which is WordPress and also experiencing the same issue.

    I would gladly buy a beer for the person that helps me solve this issue. What do you need to know?
