• I am planning to open a site selling themes I design, and I have a couple of questions regarding this:

    1. When designing themes for WordPress, am I correct that the design should be for WP unaltered, meaning not to include plugins that may be added after installation?

    2. I assume all theme design should be compliant with W3 standards (specifically, it should come out validated at http://validator.w3.org/)?

    3. Besides including the copyright symbol and notification (year, name, “All rights reserved”), what do premium theme designers do to protect their work from being stolen?

    Thank you.
