Can't add image to post

    Hi guys,

    I have a problem adding a picture to a post after updating to WP 3.6 (problem appeared after maybe 2 days after update).

    I can upload an image without a problem, I can see it in media library, but when I edit a post and press Insert image button, window opens but is blank – there are no images at all so I can’t add any 🙁

    I tried a lots of things – tried to disable all plugins (didn’t help), tried DEBUG mode and cleared all problems (didn’t help), but then I tried to switch to different theme and voila, I can insert image to post normally.

    Does anybody know, where in theme files can be the problem? I really don’t know where to look 🙁

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Yes, tried everything mentioned.

    Only switching to default theme helped, so now I just need to find out, what in my theme makes the problem.

    Any clue would be much appreciated!

    So I tried to copy theme files I changed to new version of original theme and everything seems to work.

    To explain – A year ago I downloaded theme named Responsive and made a lot of changes into it. Now I downloaded it most recent version, tried to switch to it and checked my problem with adding images to a post (everything was OK), so I copied my old theme changed files into the new theme version, checked if everything works (it does so far) and everything seems OK.

    Dunno what was the problem though, but it has something to do with incompatibility of my old theme to WP 3.6. At least I guess so.

    Hope it’ll help sb else 🙂
