Theme Preview Plugin with WP files in another directory

Trying to use dougal’s Theme Preview Plugin but…

My blog is at domain.com, but my wp files are in domain.com/wordpress.

What should I put into the URL to preview the theme?

‘http://example.com/index.php?preview\_theme=my-theme’

This does not work. Thank you!
