[Theme: Oxygen] Header image is getting scaled down :(

    I’m using oxygen theme with WordPress version 3.8.1 on a private server (not self hosted).
    All seems to work, but when i upload my header image, which is 800x150px, it get’s scaled down to something like the half or so. There is a recommendation that a header image should be 400 by 150px
    Any Ideas?
