Hi Rocco,
I made a child-theme (version 4.05) on this particular site about a month ago…
I have another site running also with the Customizr theme and this one updated a few days ago to version 4.08!
That’s when I noticed the difference.
Hope anyone can help me out here,

Hi,
Child theme is your own creation, it will not update.
As for Customizr Theme, you can go to Appearance -> Themes to click on update link to update to current version 4.0.8
If you are not seeing the update link for Customizr Theme, you can delete the theme and re-install current version from WordPress.org

Hello Denzel,
I didn’t see the update link.
So did uninstall the theme and then re-install.
All my widgets went inactive by the way….
The theme is now 4.08 but it has not the latest features…?
Did I had to cache the site first before re-installing?

You should not have visited Appearance -> Widgets after you had deleted your theme, you can only visit Appearance -> Widgets after you had install back Customizr Theme and activated your child theme.
At the moment all you can do is to re-assign your widgets.
The theme is now 4.08 but it has not the latest features…?
Sorry, I am not able to replicate your issue. Which feature is missing?

I had taken these snapshots from another website install without a child-theme which updated correctly.
Just 2, but there are more features I believe…

Customizr Theme has two different theme styles, namely Classical and Modern.
Both have different options in some areas.
If you want to compare both site’s options, please make sure you are using the same theme style.
Activate your parent theme and go to Appearance -> Customize -> Advanced options -> Theme style to make the check
