[Theme: MYgRID] Alignment issue with custom form

New here in the forums and I pre-emptively apologize if I’m posting in the wrong section.

Recently decided to go with a grid theme (this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/mygrid2) I really like the concept and the aesthetic but I’ve run into some odd issues. The most frustrating of which is the current alignment of my text when I used a WordPress custom form. You can see the form here:

Weird, right? I’ve tried adding
but the spacing remains unchanged. I’m starting to realize it probably has something to do with CSS but I don’t want to start tinkering with anything until I get a few sanity checks from the intelligent folks in this forum.
