[Theme: Matala] Would like a clickable custom header image

Hi,
I do not have a site title or description (and don’t wish to add it)
I have uploaded a custom header through the admin appearance panel.

I have read the wp pages about making the custom header graphic clickable, but I cannot seem to apply the recommendation properly in header.php of the Matala theme.

I believe the functions.php file may be where I need to add the code, but I don’t possess the knowledge to figure out where.

Any assistance appreciated!
