    Hello,

Is there anyway to tell WP Retina 2x to create images with the filenames that my theme is referencing so that your images are picked-up instead?

Wait, it looks like your theme is creating image sizes without going through the internal WordPress process? What happens if you change your theme and delete the original images? That would also generate a huge amount of garbage. Are they really doing this? 🙁 If they do this, that wouldn’t be covered by the plugin, for Retina to detect and generate those images, those images need to “exist” in the WordPress process, right now it looks like they are disconnected for everything, only the theme itself knows about them.

If you click on GENERATE for those images in the Retina dashboard, can you check again if they aren’t generated? Maybe you generated the images before installing the theme? I find it a bit odd it’s not there. Also, are you sure they are not checked out in the settings?

I found a way to turn off the auto-generation on my theme. It’s working great now, thank you!
