The problem is on the sites backend, not the website it self. Whenever I go to edit a page it just is a white screen.

I’ve tried dumping browser cache, cookies. Changing themes etc. Nothing works. I need to be able to edit the pages for my business. Tried reinstalling wordpress and updating the theme and nothing.

    Regards & Thanks

Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins:  https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus

    Hi

I’ve played around with and done exactly what was described with the themes/plug-ins (including installing the WP Debug plug in) which does not fix the problem. https://freeimage.host/i/37UFnDl

Whenever I click edit, it just goes to a solid white screen which is something with the php I think. Will contact my host but I don’t think they will be able to help until Monday and would rather get this fixed today.

[06-Apr-2025 07:52:04 UTC] PHP Warning: Version warning: Imagick was compiled against ImageMagick version 1692 but version 1693 is loaded. Imagick will run but may behave surprisingly in Unknown on line 0

That appears to be the error

    What’s in wp-content/debug.log?

With respect to Imagick, please contact your host as that’s a server side install.

the debug.log file you’re referring to doesn’t exist. The only error log of any kind I could find is what I pasted into the previous post. When I googled the error it came up with posts on other forums claiming this is something wordpress needs to work properly and I would assume this is the problem.

I opened up a ticket with my hosting. As this is primarily updating information on my site nobody reads I think I’ll resolve the rest of this with them.

    Thanks for the help.
