Theme doesn’t display any images

    I got this double problem and I don’t know if they got something in common that’s why I’ve decided to ask
    I’ve just installed Arthemia theme however I got a problem with custom field thumbnail
    it doesn’t make any thumbnail
    I’ve chmodem scripts and cache but still nothing, I got GD Library installed, set “Image” and value in custom field
    source of my images is:
    http:/mysite.com/wp-content/themes/arthemia/scripts/timthumb.php?src=http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/file.jpg&w=300&h=275&zc=1&q=100
    when I try to open it it goes straight to the main site
    the cache folder is empty

    the other strange thing is that my posts doesn’t show images if I post them in normal way as an attachment to the post
    but when I click for the fullstory/permalink it’s all fine
    I know there are themes that doesn’t show images on the main page so I don’t know maybe this one is the same but I doubt it
    if so, is there a way to change that?
