Theme doesn't change …

    Hi,

    The default theme is Vortex, and all other themes build on top of it (ie: they’re all children of Vortex, and either override or replace functionality that exists in Vortex.

    Gamma is a template theme. It’s pretty much the absolute minimal amount a theme needs to implement to be classed a theme.

    Umbra is basically for dark sites (dark backgrounds with light text).

    In all cases you can use the Theme Options area to set the colours in use, regardless of the theme. If you activate a theme but nothing seems to change, you might try going into Theme Options and hitting Save Options.
