    Hi,
    The update to 3.5.1 has now made it impossible for my theme to display an image. It is not a WordPress theme.

    The image goes well enough into the post, but the theme is what users see when going to the site and now there is a blank grey rectangle where the image should be.

    With the previous version I could put a different image if I wanted in the theme to what I put in the post. Any ideas? Can I roll back to the previous WordPress version, it was perfect?

    It is not a WordPress theme.

    Which theme? Where did you download it from?

    Have you checked if you have the problem with Twenty Twelve theme?

    Can I roll back to the previous WordPress version, it was perfect?

    No, not advisable. You will have more problems than solving.

    The theme I have had for the past three years and is called ‘Web News’ it’s a news style of theme.

    How would I check and why would I check, the Twenty Twelve theme? I don’t intend to use it.

    As we don’t support themes not distributed on WordPress.org, you ought to use a theme distributed on WordPress.org to receive support here.

    Will you now switch to the Twenty Twelve theme?

    “Will you now switch to the Twenty Twelve theme?”

    Why? So every blog on the planet looks uniform?

    No, for this reason;

    It is a shame that your theme’s forum has not received activity for 1 year, but that is the compromise you make when using a theme not distributed on WordPress.org.

    Tonyoz? It’s just troubleshooting 101: if you switch to the Twenty Twelve theme then we may be able to assist in confirming if your problem is theme related or not. This is part of the process of elimination to find out why your images aren’t loading.

    If you want to work with us helping you solve your problem then we’ll need more information and help from you.
