My new theme is a child theme base on 2012.

Can I publish it on WordPress website please? or I am better to copy all 2012 theme’s files to my theme folder, to make it independent.

WordPress.org does not provide any hosting, I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Are you asking about submitting your theme to the repository? If so, yes, child themes are allowed. See this as to the process:

sorry, it’s about theme development, once I finish it, I would like to submit for wordpress to approve to list. It’s not to host my site.

Wpyogi, yes, but mind to point out in which lines. I read through it already, but couldn’t find any, and i check one theme, it’s independent to any other theme.

Sorry, I found it on the link now, missed it a couple of times. While I try to understand it, do appreciate more advice.
