I will try my best in resolving the issue.
I am using the Road Fighter Theme. In my second installation, currently under development, color change works perfectly. (I am not yet using a child theme, wonder if this is relative? I will test it.)
On my second site The Soundsmith I have been developing it without a child theme. The color change worked perfectly.
I have now added One-Click Child Theme and changed to it, and the color option no longer works. Any suggestions? I can disable the child theme (and probably be able to change color) but do not know what to expect, can this mess up my edits?
There could be some of your plugins conflicting the working of each other.
It can only be resolved after checking your site.
Please try to disable your plugins and check once again,
When I first installed the theme for this site, color change worked perfectly and immediately. When I went to a child theme, it no longer functioned.
Following your advice, I disabled all the plugins, including the child theme. It still no longer works. Whatever setting up the child theme did apparently toggled something.
