• HELP! I went to change my theme in my dashboard and when I clicked the “Activate” button the whole screen went blank. I can’t even get back to my dashboard. Go To: http://www.northwestgolfing.com and you will see.

    I had WP Cache running and I think it has something to do with this cache program. Completely blank page. Can anyone help? Do I need to go to my server and remove the cache plugin manually or will that cause more problems?

    Thanks… Steve

  • From your site:

    <!– WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The path to wp-cache-phase1.php in wp-content/advanced-cache.php must be fixed! –>

    FTP into your site and rename the wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache folder.

    I don’t understand what you mean by renameing it? I erased the whole wp plugin from my ftp and the cache file… Now what do I do?

    You’ll probably need to delete a reference to the cache plugin in your wp-config.php file too: define('WP_CACHE', true);

    (keep a backup of your wp-config.php before you make any changes to it)

    Bit of further reading if it still causes a problem…

    Help… I’m still broken and show blank page.

    I erased WP Super Cache and I erased the Theme that freaked when I activated it but still blank page. I went to the advanced cache folder but I don’t know what to do with the couple lines of code to fix it. Any thoughts?

    I don’t have a wp-config.php file or something that is labled as that.

    Look inside the folder you installed WordPress into.
