Theme causes error

Hi, my custom theme seems to cause problems since one of the latest WordPress updates (can’t tell which one exactly).
Turning off all plugins doesn’t help. The problems only occur when using the custom theme.
The problems are:
– I can’t move widgets around to other positions in the sidebar or add / remove widgets
– I can’t open the widget settings with the small arrow in the widget sidebar menu
– I can’t open similar menus in other plugins (so basically I can’t open anything with a menu which is opened by clicking on the small arrow)
– Some plugin options don’t load (for example YOAST misses like half the page when trying to access the options)
– The design customizer doesn’t loadEverything is updated. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks!

I don’t really have a developer team, the Theme is around 4-5 years old and worked well until a couple of weeks. I am pretty sure I made changes to the widgets etc. earlier this year, so one of the latest WordPress updates must have caused the issue.
So there is pretty much nothing I can do to fix this aside of getting a developer checking my theme?
