[Theme: Ares] Full Width Posts on HP

Hello everybody !

So I just bought this pretty cool theme called Ares but there isn’t much support given by the developpers…

In the homepage you can see excerpts of posts with a thumb, I’ve found that I can change that setting changing in my template-blog-1.php excerpt by content. That will make the posts to be shown full width.

Here’s my problem I would like to have the option to choose how the posts are shown in the homepage, excerpt or full width.

Does anyone have a solution ? I guess one solution would be to create post templates but I don’t know if I have the competences to create such coding. I know basic html and css.
