Theme and Comment Issues

Hey, I’ve gotten my wordpress up and set up almost how I want it, but I’ve got two problems. The more important one relates to the comments. I’ve reworked the classic theme to fit into my website design. When you click comments it loads into a separate page instead of a similar looking page. Also, the colors and size of the text on the index.php page don’t seem to coordinate to the settings I’ve create in my theme. Everything is smaller and in some cases, the wrong color all together.

I probably deleted something from Classic that would help me out with this, but I haven’t got a clue what I need to change. Thanks for any help!
