    Hi i’m new to wordpress but have a lot of computing experience as I am a network admin, my question is my brother has asked me to make a website for him for his new pub. What is the best way to get started with WordPress should I look for a theme that is specifically made for a pub or use a very generic one and modify it myself. I don’t want to spend to long doing this task as I am busy with work, thanks in advance for the replies.

    What you should do is look for themes that ‘sorta’ match what your looking for, ignore the graphics, and check to see if they have the tags “custom-header” and “custom-background” those themes will give you options in the appearance area to change those images to fit with the ‘pub’ look.

    That’s just my 2c.
