What did you change that made that happen? You’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to access your site files on the server.
Yeah I know but it will be a lot easier and faster if I could access these files directly from the interface 🙂
I have installed a new plugin “Widget CSS Classes” and the problem occurred . I have uninstalled it and yet cannot edit the theme files.
Should I clear the cache via a plugin?
Are you using a caching plugin?
Nope I’m not but I would if I need to.
If you are not using a caching plugin, then what cache would you be clearing? WordPress does not run any cache by default.
Yes, I installed the plugin “Widget CSS Classes” to use css on a specific widget. Then the problem occurred and I switched to Single Column Footer.
Today I updated the nameservers so the original url of the website is http://scoresbg.info now.
Thank you for support 🙂
Doesn’t seem to be loading for me at all. I’d suggest you access the site files on the server and delete that plugin manually. If that does not solve it, rename your theme’s folder:
wp-content
themes
hueman.HOLD
I deleted the plugin already from the interface so there is no folder of the plugin on the server.
I just changed the name to hueman.HOLD and my whole site is a blank page 😀
Should I upload a backup from yesterday?
I just changed the name to hueman.HOLD and my whole site is a blank page 😀
Do you have a default theme in that themes folder? You should. If not, upload twentythirteen.
I deleted the plugin already from the interface so there is no folder of the plugin on the server.
Sounds like your site was crashed when you deleted it. And deleting a plugin does not remove the plugins entire folder.
I have twentythirteen and twentytwelve…
I’m thinking that the wordpress somehow is messing with me to update my theme version so the custom css box be removed from the theme option as required from the theme reviewers now. Just a thought 🙂
I really don’t know – try this one more thing – find the plugins folder and rename that:
wp-content
plugins.HOLD
Done but nothing happened again so I renamed hueman.HOLD back to normal and saw this error on the Editor’s page under the Styles – Stylesheet – style.css (bottom-right corner):
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 42 bytes) in /home/scoresbg/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 65
Then I renamed the plugins.HOLD back to normal too and the error message disapeared
