The "Random 404" Problem is back…
-
This seems to be a problem from a while ago, see here:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/w3-total-cache-yielding-404-pagesAnyway, it’s back. After a year or more of working perfectly “boom” the site starts 404ing on dozens of random pages for non logged in users. Clearing that cache only *sometimes* solves the problem. I haven’t changed anything to my knowledge so whatever caused this is a mystery.
One bizarre solution:
if I Chmod /wp-content to 777 then the problem goes away (at least for now). But this plugin is supposed to work at 755…
Does this 777 “solution” make any sense?
