The provided feed didn't return valid ics data

    Not sure what the problem is but need some help.

    I was able to import one of my feeds just fine but the second one is returning the error information stating “The provided feed didn’t return valid ics data”.

    However, I can paste the link into my URL bar and open the resulting file in Notepad and I do see all the valid event information in there so t is a valid ICS file.

    At first the calendar didn’t have any events so the ICS file was just the basic outline. However, I thought that might be a problem so I added an event. Now the ICS file does have the event information but I still get the error when trying to setup the feed.

    Is there any way to figure out what the problem might be?

    Can you please provide the feed URL you are trying to add/import.

    Well, I tried it again yesterday and I didn’t get the error but it also didn’t import correctly. I saw the big post about how ICS stuff is broken with WP 4.4 and that a fix is hopefully forthcoming?

    It imported my events but none of the had categories, none had the proper date & time, etc.

    I’m not sure if I should expect this to work or if it really is broken.
