Hi there,
Thanks for contacting us and hope you are doing well and having a great day.
To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor ). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features
Performance features currently in the experimental stage are:
- Element Caching – Elements caching reduces loading times by serving up a copy of an element instead of rendering it fresh every time the page is loaded. When active, Elementor will determine which elements can benefit from static loading – but you can override this.
- Inline Font Icons – This experiment renders icons as SVGs without loading the Font-Awesome and eicons libraries. Since SVGs are vector-based images which are rendered using the browser’s engine, they do not increase server requests which improves performance
I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Kind regards,
Good afternoon, thank you for your response. I already tried deactivating all the plugins and I still couldn’t make changes to my CSS. The problem is that some of the changes I had before in the CSS no longer work. Do you know how I can check if they’re not working because the selector changed, or because the CSS isn’t being applied? I also tried disabling the experimental features; the cache feature you mentioned doesn’t appear, but the icon feature does, so I’ve already disabled that one.
Kind regards

Hi!
Thanks for reaching out. If your custom CSS from the Astra Customizer isn’t appearing after an Elementor update, it could be due to CSS caching or a conflict between Elementor and Astra. Please try clearing your site and browser cache, and regenerate CSS files in Elementor by going to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS & Data. If the issue persists, try temporarily switching to a default theme to see if the problem is theme-related.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance!
Kind regards,
Hi thanks for your help I tried switching to my default theme and it works, Do you think there’s a conflict between the theme and Elementor? Do you have something in mind of how can I be sure of that?
Kind regards

Hi there,
Thank you for contacting me agian.
Yes since the issue no longer occurs when switching to a default WordPress theme, this strongly indicates a conflict between your original theme and Elementor.
Theme-related conflicts are usually caused by:
- Outdated or overridden JavaScript/CSS files
- Custom scripts added by the theme that interfere with Elementor
- Missing or improperly implemented WordPress hooks (such as wp_footer or the_content)
Contacting the theme developer and letting them know the issue occurs only when their theme is active alongside Elementor
As a workaround, you can continue using a compatible theme until the theme developer addresses the issue.
Should they need any help from us, they can open an issue on our Github account and our developers will be happy to assist. https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues
Kind regards,
