    Version 1.1.19

I downloaded GeoIP.dat, unzipped it and uploaded it to /wp-content/uploads/GeoIP.dat as per instructions.

When I go to my dashboard I get an error message like this:

Please download the database from: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoLiteCountry/GeoIP.dat.gz unzip the file and afterwards upload it to the following location: /home/foo/public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/GeoIP.dat

I have over 100 sites on this installation and really don’t want to upload the GeoIP.dat file over 100 times.

Is there a solution to this problem?

    Hi,

You have to upload it to /wp-content/uploads/sites/2/ according to the message you received.

If you have ssh access to the server you can probably copy the file to the other sites.

You can also use the GeoIP API. In that case you do not have to upload and update the GeoIP Databases.
