Yes, I’m having this problem, too, now. If I add a link, it doesn’t save it. Also, if I change the order of the slides, it doesn’t save that either. I am, however, able to add new slides. And all the links I added prior to the upgrade still work. But the slider becomes pretty useless to me if I can’t update it.

Forgot to add this to my previous post:
The issue can be found here: http://www.futuresymphony.org/
It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried
It works when I disable all other plugins: Yes
Meta Slider version: 3.3.6
So, deactivated my other plugins:
Akismet
Facebook Meta Tags
Jetpack
JM Twitter Cards
User Profile Picture
Vimeography
Wordfence Assistant
Wordfence Security
And with those deactivated, the Meta Slider saved my updates. Wish I had done them one at a time so I could have figured out which was the problem.
Hi there,
If you could let me know which plugin is causing the issue that would be great!
We might be able to provide some code that will allow the two to coexist but we’ll need to know which one.
Thanks,
Dave
Thank you. It’s JM Twitter Cards. I’d love to be able to use both plugins. But, honestly, yours is more important. I’ll ditch the other if I have to, but if you can help me make them both work without too much trouble, that would be super-great!
Cheers,
Laura
Hi Laura,
Thanks for the info.
I tried to dequeue the scripts that the Twitter plugin was adding but this didn’t resolve the issue for me which leads me to think it’s a deeper issue with the plugin.
Sorry to bump you to the other plugin author but I think the fix needs to come from their end:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jm-twitter-cards
It looks like a recent version might be causing issues.
Thanks,
Dave
Got it! Thank you very much for your help. I do appreciate it.
Cheers,
Laura
