• Ok. I am taking WP for a spin using Turnkey. Everything fine. BUT feeds. When I add a post it does not show up in the summary that is generated by the RSS widget (http://192.168.1.64/feed/rss2/) (or RSS Just Better).
When I delete a post, it still shows up. So, guess what? I thought trying to locate the xml file using FTP (fileZilla), making shure that is also shows hidden files. Nope. Nothing. Where is that thing? Does it exist physically at all?

Sorry I can’t show you my website yet. Eventually it will be available at http://www.lolkedijkstra.com

    Actually I discovered something…
When I click the (http://192.168.1.64/feed/rss2/) it does show the updated list in the browser… So, it is definitely a display issue, caching by the widget an all. Still very very silly showing items no longer there on my own site… What to do about this?

    Thanks a lot.

Never use the RSS Widget to display your own feed on your site. This causes a loop effect that can create severe problems.

OK. Very well and thanks of course. So, say I’d like to still show my feed on my site. How to go about it? Or is it regarded not done for some reason?

Why show a feed when you have access to all content on your own site? Any content can be shown on any page using a custom query. It might help if you explained exactly what it is that you are trying to do

    I get it.
So I guess, I’d like to provide an easy to understand way for visitors to subscribe to the site’s feed.

So, in reality, you just want to add a link to your site’s feed(s)? If yes, you could add the Meta Widget to your site via Appearance -> Widgets. This widget includes a link to the both the Post & Comment feeds.
