The Events Calendar – Shortcode?

I’ve been searching for a simple shortcode that would insert the calendar into a page. Everything I’ve come across is from several years ago.

I’m just wanting a link in the nav bar, “Events” and when clicked, opens a page with the current calendar month and all the events for that month that I’ve entered. Then, if a user clicks on an event, it opens its details page.

Here’s the site I’m wanting to use this plugin on. If you click the “Events” button at the top, you can see what’s up.
