    The development version is not uploaded to help with localization

    Can you upload the development version to help community translating this plugin?

    A lot of people in the WordPress community can help and this will improve the usage and promotion of the plugin. Could be?

    Hi @jranavas,

    That’s a fantastic idea and something we’ve actively been considering.

    Right at this time, though, we’re a little worried about the potential for confusion and frustration as at any given moment we may have more than one different version under development (sometimes, for example, new functionality is developed separately but in parallel to bug fix releases and the release dates for each can be subject to change).

    I could certainly be wrong here, but my understanding is that the Glotpress integration provided at translate.wordpress.org doesn’t currently look at branches from within SVN, which otherwise might alleviate the problem.

    That said, it’s certainly something we’re considering and we appreciate you reaching out about it — we just want to proceed carefully and would hate to waste the time of our community contributors 🙂
